Hello there, and how are you doing today?
I'm doing pretty well.

Gifts From Above

How did you get your start in design?
I studied Design at the University of Otago in New Zealand and really enjoyed the freedom to create. I then wandered into the mouth of the real world and it bit hard - clients/deadlines/pressure.

Aoraki Polytech Prospectus

What inspires your work?
Some of the designs on here at Threadless are pretty inspiring, but I find that everyday things are the biggest source of inspiration. Conversations/tv/music/talking trash - that sort of stuff.

The Garden City

How does it feel to win on Threadless?
It feels fantastic! I tend to spend a bit of time on my submissions and sometimes get too carried away... and next thing I know, it's three days later and I'm still sitting at my computer in the same position slaving away on my submission while begging for the mercy of the Threadless gods. It's great to see a print come of it.

What do you plan to spend your winnings on?
Probably a rocket car and a solid gold house.
