Hello there, and how are you doing today?

Today, I am doing very well. I'm recouping from an exciting Canada Day weekend. It's a much needed recuperation.

How did you get your start in design?

It seemed like a really natural start. I've just always had a passion for things I can see. Then I started realizing that some things look better than other things. Eventually, I went to Cambrian College in Northern Ontario for Graphic Design ... the College was right down my street and the course seemed easy enough. Though the latter ended up being not so true, the course taught me that there's much more to it than the fact that some things just look better. Hmm ... were you looking for a shorter answer? Like: late 2001? Late 2001.

What inspires your work?

So many things inspire me ... I'm easily amused and I think anything that amuses me inspires me. Also, anything that intimidates me. The inspiration isn't a direct result of the intimidation though ... it's the other way around.

How does it feel to have a design selected by Threadless?

Well ... when I got the email ... i had a complete outburst of excitement. My emotions escaped me ... I really just let go and yelled and jumped and called everyone.

What do you plan to spend your hard-earned cash on?

If I lived in the states, I might say an iPhone. Maybe I'll bank it. Or skydiving. Or maybe I'll buy the nice folks at Threadless a cake.
