The Innovation Movement at CES
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has launched a national grassroots campaign, the Innovation Movement, in support of policies that advance innovation, encourage economic growth and create U.S. jobs. The Innovation Movement wants to get Americans excited about how technology and innovation can revitalize the economy and foster entrepreneurship.
The campaign is in favor of policies that foster broadband access, encourage investment in energy efficiency technologies, support U.S. exports to international consumers, and encourage investment in entrepreneurial companies. CEA represents more than 2,000 U.S. technology companies. It produces and hosts the International CES each January in Las Vegas. Today the CES is the largest gathering for consumer technology in the world. Please visit the Innovation Movement at www.innovation-movement.com and check out the excitement at the 2010 CES at www.cesweb.org |
Let’s hear it for innovation! It’s the driving force behind improvements in all areas of our lives, be they technological, ecological, and pretty much any other word ending in “-ical.” As a matter of fact, it was a new and innovative way of thinking that transformed a one-off tee shirt contest into… Threadless! And now it’s your turn...
Your challenge is to create an amazing tee design based on innovation! Will you choose to depict innovations of the past, present, or future? Perhaps you have your own innovative ideas to present on a tee? The Consumer Electronics Association wants to feature your chosen design at the world’s largest gathering for consumer technology – the International CES – in Las Vegas, and they want YOU to go! That’s right! A 3 day stay in Vegas, swanky hotel accommodations, a Flip cam, AND passes to the show to check out all of the newest innovations in electronics! On your marks, get set, innovate!
The purpose of the submissions relating to this promotion is to create a stand-alone design inspired by the challenge, not a brand tee. Your design should not have brand names or logos on it.
