ugh...today the house of representatives voted to remove all funding from planned parenthood

its like every other day there's some state trying to enforce some ridiculous law that restricts the rights of people to get abortions since they cant technically outlaw them but today takes the cake

really house of represenatives? really?

there goes yearly exams, cancer screenings, std testing, pregnancy prevention and care, etc for people that are lower income...which includes most women in/ straight out of college

way to go!

no woman will be able to step into that baby murder factory known as planned parenthood...(Even though most PP clinics dont offer abortions)

this is SOOOO much more important than getting people jobs and working on our huge deficit.

oh wait this will help that whole job issue by closing tons of clinics that provide people with jobs...

everything is so incredibly frustrating.

especially when you know that people are bitching over this stuff and getting people all riled up about it...just because it will distract people from the real shit our elected officials should be dealing with

i know it's not set in stone yet...but it's still a very scary prospect

I've had my macbook pro for a year now...and the charger has always gotten hot but the past few days it's gotten ridiculously hot, like i cant even hold it and it smells a little burny and sometimes just stops charging while im using it...like i can see the charger icon go back and forth

i unplug my laptop whenever the battery is fully charged and try not to recharge it until the battery gets to red or almost red

is this just what happens? should i be concerned?
i use my laptop pretty heavily, i've been iced in the past few days so my use might be up a little bit but not by a lot

should i be unplugging my charger from the actual wall outlet more?

So some of you might know that I'm in a long distance relationship...I live in Dallas, He lives in Brooklyn.

Holidays kind of blow, especially since tomorrow night is New Years Eve...and while I'm excited to hang out with my 2 best friends...I know that theyre both going to be incredibly happy with their boyfriends that are going to be hanging out with us.

While being the 5th wheel will kind of suck, I know we'll still have fun and I can't bitch too much when I'm going to see my boyfriend next week on Wednesday for 5 days...

here's the situation.

a few days ago, Andy found out his Aunt/Godmother died and he was having to fly back to San Antonio this weekend for her funeral.

he flew in today and the funeral will be on Monday, and he will fly back that night

i feel like such a dick but i wish i could drive down and spend tomorrow night with him...does that make me an insensitive selfish asshole?

There's probably no chance that I will act on this urge. He needs to be with his family, he lives with his older brothers but he was really disappointed that he couldnt spend christmas with his parents...

it just sucks that he's finally back in texas and so close...but it's for these reasons and i feel guilty for even considering taking advantage of that

it's just frustrating when he'll probably go out with his brothers or something anyway fa;sdfadsfkjdfa

how do you even bring up a subject like that?
