I was just curious as to how long everyone spends on their designs? I realize it varies, but what would you say the average amount of time spent is?
I get the feeling that I am spending way too much time, myself. I'm slightly embarrassed to even admit how much time I spend but it's well over 5 hours per design on average and for a few its been double that.
I dont sketch out anything first, I just do all the work in illustrator then export it to flash. It seems counterproductive to me to sketch something out first and then trace it in illustrator, but I'm guessing it's a lot quicker that way.

I was just wondering for the normal Threadless contest when do you find out if your design is going to be printed? It seems to me that Threadless would decide as soon as all the designs for the week were finished scoring as they would like to get your artwork over to them ASAP to make sure they can print it properly. However, it seems like the designs being printed currently are fairly old, so I was wondering how long should one wait before giving up all hope?

Forgive me if everyone is still sick of the IFC entries-Personally, I preferred them to the Wireless contest entries-
I realize my entry doesnt stand a chance having scored so poorly ;( and since I've heard nothing from Threadless, but I'm curious about the IFC results-
Does anyone know when we can expect to see the winning tees?

Here's a kind of humorous story of what happened to me for sumbitting a less than inspired slogan.
During one of my frequent lapses in judgement I decided to submit the slogan "Got Viagra?" on the OMG clothing site. Since that time I've gotten numerous spam emails with details on how to get some viagra. Apparently, the spammers are under the assumption that I was sending out a request for some. I wasn't. ;(
Has anyone else received odd emails after submitting odd slogans?
