Threadless Tees: Not Just for Humans
When our Customer Service team took part in the Threadless "Design Your Office" competition, we were psyched. Beyond psyched. We spend a lot of time in this here office and couldn't wait to sass it up a bit.

Our design theme: Crafty Lodge. We hammered up some wood paneling. We tricked Charlie into building us a fireplace. We ordered a faux bear skin rug. But something was missing. What's a lodge without dead animals? Not willing to go out and shoot some animals, we decided the next best thing was stuffed animals. Not the taxidermy kind. The cute kind. We went to work on our stuffed animal mounted trophies. We have to say- they really tie the room together.

We presented our finished design to rave reviews and ended up taking home the title of "Best Office Design", something we're super proud of. Since then, we've received quite a few compliments and questions about our stuffed animal head trophies, so we decided to write up a little tutorial (see below the pic for instructions)

Tips on How to Find an Animal
Haven't been lucky enough to win a carnival game and wonder what in the world you're going to do with this over-sized stuffed animal? Don't fret. Check out your local resale or thrift store. They should have a large selection of stuffed animals looking for a good home (or in our case, a home where they'll be decapitated). Look for an animal that isn't straight up and down. 4 legged animals and animals that rest on their belly work best (ponies, unicorns, cows, pigs, sheep, etc). Teddy bears and other sit-down plushies don't really work because of where the neck hole is. Make sure to think about the scale of the head and how it will fit on the plaque.

Instructions
Clean your plaque of any dust and dirt and paint your desired color. Allow to dry overnight. Once your plague is painted and dry, you can start working on mounting the head.

Decapitate your stuffed animal. Don't sever too close to the head, otherwise you won't have enough material to work with. Make a snippet lower on the neck near the shoulders and cut all the way around, severing the head from the rest of the body.

Discard the remains or use your twisted imagination to make some use of it (headless pony dog toy, anyone?)

Remove about half of the stuffing from the neck canal.

On your plaque, mark the position of where you'd like the head to be.

Prepare the head for mounting. Fold the neck flaps into the neck opening. You can use the needle and thread if you want to bind the flaps loosely together.

Using your staple gun, begin to staple the neck opening to the plaque, keeping your folds on the inside of the stuffed animal. You might want to staple once at the top, bottom, and sides before you continue all the way around the head to ensure placement. Use just enough staples to keep the head secure. Make sure to staple as close to the base of the neck as possible. The fur from the stuffed animal will hide the staples, giving you a good clean base.

Hang and enjoy! To add authenticity, don your most mountain man flannel shirt and beard (ladies, don't be scared of a little facial hair). Rock away in your rocking chair while stroking your beard, all while admiring your impressive trophy and even more impressive crafting skills .

Us Threadless gals work tirelessly for the t-shirt buying public. Thanks for sending us Bobert the Monkey and appreciating our efforts Ryder Revolution!
You'll see some new Guys tees from this week's launched listed as "Fine Jersey tee" . We are testing out a different type of shirt with lots of similarities to American Apparel. Fine Jersey is the same type of cotton used for American Apparel tees.

You can find more about the measurements on our size chart: www.threadless.com/sizechart . The measurements on this particular tee type are a bit smaller than the American Apparel tees, however this tee is preshrunk so you should expect little or no additional shrinkage. After a round in the wash, the sizing will be about the same as your AA tees.

We'd love to hear what you think of them!
This awesome design is printed on a new kind of hoody! We're calling them Contrast Hoodies- because of the fancy little white zipper. You can find more about sizing and such on the American Apparel site:

Someone emailed us a picture of the scrapbook page about the day their Threadless order arrived. It made us feel all warm and fuzzy inside and we wanted to share the love.

Beyond being super cute to look at, you can join in on the fun! Each Tiny Tee was made to represent a shirt in this user's order. We'll send a Threadless coupon to the first person to guess all the Tiny Tee designs correctly. If no one gets them all right, the winner will be the person who has the most correct guesses by Monday!

*Hint- All the tiny tee shirt colors match the (not so tiny) Threadless shirt color of the design!* -edited!

Have fun and play fair!

Hey All!

You may have encountered some problems if you tried placing an order in the past hour or two. We're experiencing some issues with our credit card processing system, but we are on it and everything should be back to functional shortly. Feel free to try placing your order again in the next hour or so and it should be all good...lickety split!

Email service@threadless.com if you encounter any other issues!
Hello Threadless!

As you've noticed there have been some changes going on around here. A whole new look, a whole new cart, and a whole bunch of fun stuff. We've seen some bugs with the changes (not the creepy crawly kind...the technical kind) and are working to get everything running as smoothly as possible. Please let us know if you see anything weird or if anything goes wonky while you are on Threadless. We're trying to find everything, but your help would be much appreciated.

Here are some problems you may have experienced:

Unable to Cancel an Order
This feature will be restored some time today, hopefully before noon CST. For the time being, if you placed an order and need to cancel it, email us at service@threadless.com. Be sure to provide your order number and the email address you used to place the order.

Shipping Address was Changed to an Illinois Address
Funny, right? We just wished you all lived in the same state as us. No need to worry about this one. We will automatically adjust your order to the correct state. As long as the postal code and city you entered is correct, we'll update to the right state or province.

Address Verification Error
Getting this error when you try to place an order? We know it's happening to some of you! This is a tricky one and we are working on it. We hope to fix this by early next week. If you send an email to service, we'll hang onto your info and notify you when its back in working order.
