I'm back!

It's been a long time since I submitted any designs or posted a blog, or lurked... I've bought tshirts since then, but I always shied away from the design section.

But at last! I drew up the courage, and drew up a design!



I plan to do a lot more of it. Threadless has changed so much since I first started designing. All of these crazy shirts with gradients, some even look like photographs! This sort of thing wasn't do-able. It opens up all kinds of medium and ideas, but of course I'll most likely stay traditional with my designs. Because i'm such a pussy.

I can't wait for the next design challenge!

I notice that most printed designs have over 2,500 votes - yet all my subs have barely passed 1700. Especially my latest design which I thought was my best.

Is there a specific time that I should submit designs to get the most amount of votes? Or are some weeks just slower than others?

I promote my t's - I send them to friends and famiy. But there's only so many times you can exploit them.
So, I was wondering what your tips are on scoring/promoting.

So my "Broken Necking" design got alot of attention! I'm curious as what the score might be... I's most likely to be pretty low, as a plethora of the comments were negative.

Kudos to those who did actually enjoy the design, though.

I'm blogging to ask (if anyone actually reads these) what people would like to see next from me? I have another design pending approval however the style is far from the handiwork of Broken Necking.

So what do you want to see on a tshirt? If I like your idea, i'll go forth all the way! Hell, if it gets picked I'll send you a free shirt with your idea on it if you like...
That's what people do if they want to be popular, right? Give out free things...?
