The style of this really reminds me of David Shrigley's work. Nice one.

Also, I know about a million people for whom this shirt would be appropriate.

Bike thieves are the scum of the earth.
Totally, utterly shameless. But these could do quite well, I think, with more votes.

How DAMN good is this?

Shame it wouldn't suit me. I'd love this as a print. LOVELOVELOVE.

Wish I could wear this.
I've been more and more reluctant to buy Threadless T's in the past year or so, because increasingly I can't justify the idea of buying a product that's

- manufactured in Bangladesh
- shipped to the US
- flown to the UK (often via Germany?)

That's just not a sustainable approach to manufacturing and selling, and it'll be interesting to see, given the inevitable rise in oil prices and the consequent restrictions on importing/exporting, how long Threadless will be able to keep it up.

Now, I'm not really criticising Threadless - they're hardly the main offender when it comes to wasteful manufacturing and business practices, and in many ways their approach to business is brillliantly innovative, if not revolutionary. And I love what they do. Just not everything about how they do it.

So I'm wondering - are the green aspects of their business something the Threadless overlords have been thinking about, and if so, what ideas do they have for making their business more sustainable, less harmful, and generally greener?

Would be great to get a discussion going.
So, I'm reading the comic book The Walking Dead right now, and it's pretty great (I'm only up to #36, so no spoilers please!).

Got me thinking it would be fun to ask:

You wake up tomorrow morning and the dead have risen from their graves. Civilisation is crumbling, the police, army and government have fallen to the undead ghouls (shame, Obama was so promising...).

WHAT DO YOU DO?

Congratulations Olly - Drawn is such an awesome blog, and they seem to really love your work.

Gotta say, that "The Great Dictator" poster is stunning.

On the 4th, Californians voted in support of a constitutional amendment to outlaw gay marriage.

While they, along with the majority of US voters, were voting for optimism and the hope of change by choosing Obama as president, Californians simultaneously voted to suppress people's freedom to love, and to express their love, affection and commitment for each other.

:(
I had kind of stopped buying Threadless T's because I couldn't justify the wasteful transporting of a t-shirt from Pakistan (the factory's in Pakistan, yeah?) to the USA, and then from the USA to the UK.

That said, I'm a minor hypocrite, cos I had to have this one.

It just seems to fit the world, and especially this country, right now.

Economic crisis, oil about to run out, no real political choice, climate change coming, the possibility of a Conservative government...

And Douglas Adams isn't here to tell us "DON'T PANIC".

This just seems to fit.

So thanks Mr Moss, for neatly summing up our modern times. You're welcome to visit me in my self-sustaining mountain-top shack any time.
After two years with a full beard, I decided to rid myself of the growth tonight. So I'm now sitting here all smooth, looking about five years younger.

My girlfriend is properly freaked out, seeing as she's only ever known me with the beard, kind of. Also, I need to lose about half a stone, it seems! Oh well. The beard will be back within the week (I grow beards like most people sweat...).

Anyway, we had a lot of fun shaving it off, trying out all kinds of styles. The "My Name Is Earl" is my favourite I think.

Enjoy the fruits of my face!
