When I was a kid, nothing -- and I mean nothing -- made me happier than hanging out in my room, playing the LPs I'd gotten from my cousins (mostly '70s soul and disco) on my record player. That sparked my love of music, record collecting and the joy of relaxing with a pair of headphones and a stereo. This design brought all that back the minute I saw it, which is why I had to have the shirt. It's going to be a favorite, like all my Threadless tees. Simply put, it's lovely.
This will be my second Threadless t-shirt and I can't WAIT for it to arrive so I can wear it to work. Why? Because I work for a newspaper and, starting next week, I'll have to attend a 7:30 meeting every morning. So I look forward to wearing She Doesn't Even Realize since it will shake things up a bit. Plus, who doesn't love the sad robot? I know I do. Poor little guy. You just want to hug him.
about Bunnies
Here's the final verdict on "Bunnies" from my friend after she opened the package from Threadless and was, of course, blown away by the coolness of her b-day present inside:

"Thanks for my present! I love the angry bunnies, and the carrot makes the whole shirt. I think it gets an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City."

So "Bunnies" goes to NYC and... I'm blogging this from my sad desk at work. Threadless 1, Me 0.
This will be my first threadless tee but NOT my last. I can't WAIT to get it, especially since it sold out right after my order. That said, I am sorry that the rest of y'all weren't as lucky as I was. I'm sending out good karma for the reprint!

All about me

I roll classic "Soul Train" on Saturday afternoons, fine wine, disco cans instead of earbuds, sweet tea and grits y'all, making mixes for you to shake whatcha Mama gave ya, doing crossword puzzles in pen, being one of the few the proud the native HOTlantans, LPs on a turntable, saying "Yes, Ma'am" and "No sir" to your folks, Album 88, finding That Special Someone and coffee every mawnin'.
