Hey Y'all.

Could someone help me resize and maybe touch up a photo? I am really not that skilled at photoshop and I have tried to do it myself unsuccessfully. Embarrassing, right? I thought I would ask y'all because I know a lot of you are photoshop (or other photo editing program) wizards.

I'm trying to get rid of red eye and maybe look a little less ruddy and sunburnt. Really, anything that makes me look better, haha.

Btw, these photos are for medical school applications.

One application is asking for a 2 inch by 2 inch photo (File must be either .gif,.jpeg, or .jpg), less than 250KB, or 250x400 pixels.

Another requests that "The file format must be in .gif, .jpg or .jpeg format. The recommended size for the picture is 150 Pixels X 150 Pixels. A square picture is preferred. The image must not be larger than 25K."

Could someone help me out?

I will STP you forever and maybe make you something. who knows? haha.

THANKS!

My little brother texted me saying that I kind of look like this guy.

Do you see it?

I kind of do.

Too bad I can't grow a beard.
If anyone wants to collaborate with me on these ideas, let me know. :) Also, please let me know if any have been done before or if they are too similar to something already done. Thanks.

IDEAS

-clock that says "gone," "on my side," "now," and "running out" where the 12, 3, 6, and 9 are.

-a ransom note that is written in an overly polite manner

-a ransom note that is written with cut out letters that says "It would have been so much easier to type this ransom note."
It looks like the old one got deleted, so let's start again!
I take the MCAT tomorrow, which is the biggest test of my life so that is pretty terrifying.

I've been stressing pretty bad over it the past few weeks. I haven't been able to sleep much and the lack of sleep and stress has led to me getting strep throat. So great right? I'm on antibiotics now and feel heaps better already, but it still adds more worry to taking the test. ._.

So if I could get your good vibes/funny pictures/prayers/whatever I would really really appreciate it.

Thanks
My best friends niece is a great writer.
I love her stories. Best ones I have read in a while.

She is 7 years old.

Great. :D

A Strange Girl
by Ilse Eskelsen
May 2011

I dedicate this book to my mother, who knew I could write it.

Chapter 1

“Can I have your room?”
“No.”
Edelia, nicknamed Eddy, was going to college with two of her sisters—Beth and Marie. Her other sister, Lilly, age 13, was going to miss them. They promised they would be back for summers. Edelia had long, chestnut, wavy hair. Beth, on the other hand, had long, straight, blond hair. Marie, Edelia’s twin, had chestnut, short, curly hair, like their dead Father—Marck Louis.
The three girls bade their sister, and mother, goodbye. They got on the train.
“Is it a dream, or are we really going to college?” It was Marie.
“We’re really going,” answered Edelia. “You know what, I think I’ll get on the roof.”
Her sisters tried to stop her, but it was no use. Brave Edelia opened the window, and climbed out. She hauled herself onto the roof. She absolutely loved it. Soon, she fell asleep.
When she woke up a few hours later, she stood up. She lost her balance, and fell. A nurse came, startled by the crash.
“Come to my quarters!”
“I can’t!”
The nurse sighed, and carried her. When they got there, the nurse inspected Edelia. “A broken leg. Go back to your compartment. Here are some cruches.”
Edelia did as she was told. She told her astonished sisters what had happened. For a minute there was silence. Then Beth said “We’re here,” and broke the silence.
It was true. They could see the college clearly. They ran to the doors. Edelia was first. They ran to go into the college. A lady took them to their room.
They unpacked their few possessions—the Louis family was poor.
“Ahem!” It was the lady. “There are few rules here at Brinstone College. First, you must come to the dinning room when the bell rings. It is down the stairs, and in the first double doors you see. Second, you must never disrespect teachers. Lastly, you must act aproprietly. Oh, I forgot, no violent things.” She left.
“Lastly, you must act aproprietly,” Edelia mimicked. The sisters all laughed. Just then, the bell rang.
“Time for dinner,” said Beth.

Chapter 2

In Edelia’s opinion, dinner couldn’t be better. Roast chicken, bacon, hard boiled eggs, oranges, cookies, mini cakes, and muffins. “Delicious!” Edelia said it.
“You’re right,” said Marie.
This time, Edelia had cut her muffin in half, put slices of her food in between, and ate it. Then, she heartely ate the left overs.
“She’s a strange girl, that one!” said a boy close by outside this room. And breakfast began. Edelia ate quickly. She raced outside the room.
She took English, and art. That was all. Marie and Beth took more subgects. They had English and art at the same time as Edelia.
A girl came up to Edelia. “I’m Mary. Can we be friends?”
“I don’t really know you.”
Mary sadly walked away. Edelia sighed.
A senior girl said they looked “terrible,” and walked away. Edelia went in the garden.
“Yeah, I saw her climb on the top of the train, and fall asleep!” said a girl.
“She even has a strange name—Edelia. I heard her sisters on the train.” This time it was a boy. “And I saw her on the roof. She was a beauty.”
Edelia always remembered that last bit.
The Louis sisters went to bed, full. Edelia was last to fall asleep. She dreamed that she had been kidnapped, and was a princess. The kidnapper had a shaggey gray beard, almost like her father’s. He had dark eyes, and a slim smile.
Edelia woke up. She got dressed, and woke her sisters. She wrote a letter to Lilly.
Dear Lilly, I miss you dearly. Please enertain mother for me. I hope you will feel comforted. Lots of love, Edelia.
At breakfast, Charles Brinstone said a short notice. “The sign up sheets are right . . . .

((((((((THERE WAS A MISSING PAGE)))))))))

She picked Lilly lots and lots of roses, daisys, and violets. She took them to her room. She wrote something on her letter to Lilly—P.S. I hope you like the flowers. Edelia went to the post office, and sent these gifts of flowers.

Beth started to act strange over the next few days. Edelia also did strange things—but not like Beth. She did her homework on the roof, only read books by Louisa May Alcott, and made piles of books to jump of, onto the beds.
After a while, Beth got very weak. A few days past, but then her sisters realized her weakness. They were just about to get the doctor, when the lunch bell rang. Marie gritted her teeth. The Louis family didn’t eat much. They were worried about Beth. Finally, dinner was over.
Marie and Edelia got the doctor. He was a tall mad, with sleek, brown hair. They showed him to their sister.
“Oh no!” said the doctor. “Miss Beth here has scarlet fever!” He gave Edelia a small bottle. “Drink three spoonfuls every morning, and every night.” And he walked away.
“Beth, stay in bed!” It was Marie.
The month later, Beth died! The Louis twins cried, and cried.
One day, after class, Miss Cobblestone asked them why their homework had tear stains. “Our sister died of scarlet fever,” they replied.
That's it.
