now I'm curious.

I don't know if they're "cool" but i have a teardrop shaped one on my kneecap and a curved line on one of my fingers from opening a film canister in a changing back back in high school.



Oh and a few from chicken pox, those definitely are not cool!

I have a woosh-shaped scar on my thumb from camping.

I have a scar on my tongue from when I bit it almost entirely in half.

i have one on the front of my left thigh about an inch wide by two inches long where a belt sander snagged my pants while locked on and sanded a big hole in my leg.

i have a circular burn scar on my right upper arm about an inch across from a heated cigarette lighter being pressed into it in some kind of stupid college manhood test.

i have a line between my 4th and 5th toes on my left foot where i accidentally put an axe, and another line between the 4th and 4rd where i accidentally put a shovel the following day.

and i have a line done the back of the end of my right index finger where a utility knife jumped the edge of my ruler when i was cutting a piece of card and slide through my fingernail and back to the first knuckle.

there's various others but those are the winners.

Cripes.

with a pencil i can hardly draw at all. that's why i use a nice blunt mouse.

A few weeks later:

yeah we lived in townhomes, I probably should've pointed that out. Our porches were pretty close in vicinity, but for a kid who just learned how to walk, jumping is not an option.

I have a permanent burn on my tongue - my tastebuds on that portion of it are now faulty (there go dreams of culinary school).

I got my thumb caught in a paper-cutter a few years ago at work, my skin and nail all got ripped off from the blade when I tried to pull my thumb away (the nail and skin have since grown back, thank goodness).

I have a bunch of scars on the soles of my feet from when I accidentally jumped on glass.

And I have some pencil lead stuck in my upper thigh.



Leon is still more of a badass.

When my lung scars were still fresh I would make up stories like i got stabbed by gangsters, or clawed by a tiger while saving a bus full of orphans, etc.

I have an inch long scar on my left palm below my thumb from trying to break extra thick piece of stained glass without the proper sized groziers. My sun catcher was never completed.



i also have a scar under my left eye from getting run over by a bicyclist when I was five.

Most of mine are from 2 years of dialysis followed by a kidney/pancreas transant, but I have several other major ones as well.

I only have one huge scar, about 6" long across my lower abdomen. 2 c-sections :) I'm a bad ass

permanently deformed little knuckle (punching a bully- i was 8)

I have loads of other scars but none are cool. Appendix, chicken pox, falling on glass, monkey knife fight and animal bites.

It was painful. It was still very red at this point, since it was only about 40 days post surgery (the scabs had just fallen off). Not sore now though.

Well, glad it doesn't hurt anymore... but still, ouch!

I got one in my forehad but it doesn't look like a scar. I fell going up stairs when I was little. It's not even noticeable, so I think it's not cool :P

that mangled toe is pretty extreme but the lung thing is still the toughest (other than c-sections and episiotomy that is - the hell with that whole business)

the only major scar i ever had was on my forehead, but it's pretty much invisible now. a camp counselor accidentally slammed a door in my face when i was six or so and i had to get stitches.



i also have a dent in my head, but i'm not sure why. i was probably dropped as a child or something. that's one reason why i'll never shave my head.
