i like it - but the composition seems a little odd - because the edge of the world shouldn't have a bottom (at least not in my mind) - - - i'd like to see the main image a little larger, with the edge extending out further, and the drop-off also extended much further down the torso, and (keep the drips off the bow) but move the carnage either to the bottom corner of the tee or centered on the upper back

You are one of the most amazing designers on this site! I love your work... and I love this shirt ... please don't hate me... but the Vikings actually made a landing in North America way before Columbus (Leif Erikson, 11th century). The Chinese also made a pre-Columbus landing. Additionally, can I just say that Columbus was a hack.

cbuchholz on Dec 05 '06 Thanks for the comments Bluestocking! I don't hate you. I rather enjoy these brief history lessons. If you notice though, I did include a disclaimer at the top of the page that addresses your concerns. As mentioned above, the titles Pre-Chinese, or Pre-Leif Erickson just do not have a good ring to them, nor do they convey the same concept to an average viewer. So, yes, I'm pandering to the incorrect views of history that are prevalent in this country. Call it creative license. Plus, to be exact, the bible writer Isaiah mentioned that the earth was round well before any of them during the 8th century. Thanks for the comments!

I don't think the Vikings would have a problem with representing a flat earth. They were more concerned with encountering the Midgard serpent, and whether they would die in battle. Because everyone wants to spend all of their afterlife battling each other for fun and getting drunk with the Valkyries, right? $5

I think the bones should be a lot lower on the torso, but other than that it's awesome.
