his teather should be attached to the bottom of the zipper, not the top
Brett F.
Brett F. on Jan 25 '07
yes, bottom of the zipper.

but there's something i really like about this shirt. i dunno, maybe it's the simplicity.

i think it'd be a lot cooler if it was smaller, implying more vastness for him to be lost in.

I think the teather is actually coming out of the shirt... and I like the idea of the astronaut being smaller

batsheep on Jan 25 '07
in fact the astronaut leaves our body which is an aircraft and the tee-shirt is space / it leaves our body by the zipper...

and I'm agree with the idea of the astronaut being smaller.

thks a lot!

okay, if he's spposed to be coming out of my body ... my body ain't grey. dunno about yours??

(i like this shirt a lot, i want it to be printed, i just want it to make sense too)

just throwing this out there.... hoodie? with zipper down middle?
hitman15
hitman15 on Jan 25 '07
actually, i dont think there should be a zipper at all. unless it was going to be a real zipper. but if its just part of the design then you should get rid of it.

well just think of '2001: A Space Odyssey'....

everything is possible!

I agree with Simison. It's fun, but it'd look better on a hoodie.

ohitsxnicole on Jan 25 '07
I agree.

Hoodie would be best. And i'd definetely wear it on a hoodie.

naw. keep the tee, lose the zipper, shrink the astronaut.
SemantiTheft
SemantiTheft on Jan 26 '07
I like it the way it is. I don't think he should be shrunk very much at all, for the sake of easily being able to recognize what's going on. I also like it on a shirt. First of all, does Threadless even offer zip-up hoodies? I've only seen pull-overs. Also, I like the way it is presented at the moment... if it were on a hoodie, he would be zipped out most of the time! Also, with someone having a problem with the gray underneath... I took it as being an undershirt... we're not all the same color, after all, so how would you make it a skin tone for all?

Well done!

Not something I would wear, but very clever.

don't like the zipper either. maybe just at the end of the rope a word like "snap"... to symbolize that the rope has been cut?

id add alot more detal to the astronaut suit. Not sure how many colors you used, but with 5 different ones plus the shirt color, you could make the astronaut look pretty realistic and 3d. if it doesn't get a decent score id work on it some more and re submit it sometime in the future.

I don't know if I would feel comfotable storing small astronauts inside my clothing, that may just be me though.

I like it. It made me think of how you put your heart out there for someone to hurt it. Or for it to get lost. I like it the way it is too.
Thealleycat
Thealleycat on Jan 29 '07
Lose the Zipper...Have him coming out from the top of the t-shirt or even a little 'hole' or 'rip' in the t-shirt as if he has 'broken through'....(no hoodie) ....smaller Astronaught.....and perhaps he could be reaching for something? Like a small little red heart that has 'got away'.....??

But I do like it!
vuokko
vuokko on Jan 30 '07
Yeah, a whole the astronaut has ripped through sounds cool though I don't see what the big problem with the zipper is, it's nicely abstract too.

Or! Maybe the wearers got a really cool I-pod WII, astronaut being one of the earpieces or he could be the Pod itself, climbing up the shirt with little earpices hanging behind.

..I am too lazy to draw it out myself .

i don't like the zipper unless it's an actual zipper. but the little guy is super cute. don't change the little guy at all but get rid of the zipper or try to get this on a zip up hoodie.
