First of all it's "If God WERE a Woman", and second of all, no.

If God were a women - I don't think she would be a figure of sexual desire. If they made 'Creation - The Movie', and God was cast as a woman, it would be either Dame Judy Dench or Dame Helen Mirram. No doubt. Great illustration, but not for me.

if god existed, he/she would be a lot cooler/nicer than the one that everyone thinks exists. i mean really... cancer? no x-ray vision? body odor? these aren't things a nice god would make up.

Like always your illustration style is fantastic, but this shirt is not for me.

I like it, but I think it's a tad too big on the t-shirt.

She needs to shave. That body hair is outrageous.

God needs to comb Her hair and maybe use some sort of heavenly conditioner...

It's "If God were a woman."

Not "If God was a woman."

I'm just being nitpicky, never mind me. Not like it matters anyway since the words aren't on the shirt.

Still not a fan of the design. Looks like a Cher concert like someone said. Also why have the typha (cattail plants)?

Well, well, well. I see someone has some serious drawing chops. Awesome image, I think it would look better on the back, you know, OP style and maybe a red, or hot pink shirt the blue is good though, warm gray might rock too.

the creator is half man half woman

but his dame is kinda hot

i don't like her hands tho.

Pretty good artwork, but I agree that the black designs don't fit.

I can't say I would wear it, but I really like the design/concept. Only thing is, is that a gradient on the rays of light? Or are my eyes tricking me.

$4

PsyKopaT on Feb 23 '07
No, aykgotl, there is no gradient on the rays of light but 2 colors : white and blue. ;)

Exactly. Grammar people, grammar.

Way too much hair action, same with the snakey blackness. Definitely seems like more of a surfer theme than a religious statement.

I like it. It's very well drawn. But I agree about the black background stuff--definately reminds me of The Grudge. :/
ajsolid84
ajsolid84 on Feb 27 '07
shirtflirt, it would be "If God were a woman" because to say "If God was a woman" would be to say "If God was a woman, but is no longer." And to say "If God were a woman" would be to say "If God so happened to be a woman."

I believe the creator of this design intended for the latter of those two meanings.
