but dont get me wrong... im not trying to be a dick or anything im just saying its not the most original idea (even though one is a camera and one is a projector)

besides... is criticism not allowed or something? what an artist really needs is criticism so that they can better their work...not just a thousand "amazing"s and "cool"s.

i agree with zuru about the need for criticism on these scoring blogs.. it's like in college (if you went to art school) where there would be a critique session and no one would be blatant enough to really say critical things about the artwork because they didn't want to be torn apart themselves when it was their turn.



i don't really think that davesmith is ripping off the artist that you linked to, though, because this art is very different. maybe davesmith got inspiration from that artist, but he's not blatantly copying him/her.



ANYWAY, back to THIS design, i really like it and the placement and the way the movie-projector-guys are interacting with the girl on the movie screen. overall, i think it's a good design and well executed!

im not a big fan of that upper left corner with the circle and the color swatch blocks. but other than that, i really like this design, great colors and concept.
