An iconic image can never die. Especially when the designer knows how to use it. That being said, your design looks ok, but needs something to give it that extra umph.

This is one of the better skull ideas - with humor, like robsouls new one. I was thinking of doing a humorous getting-down-on-skulls design also. This could have that other
meaning - Bush's Skull & Bones Society is dead....... or is it? ...uh oh |
