I actually love the look of the hands(maybe a little more detail?), but I would've loved it if the clouds were not copy-pasta'd and the fish could be taken out entirely.
Try reworking it, then submit it to the critiques section. This could be easily improved and look awesome. |

FRICKINAWESOME on Aug 10 '09 yup, this has a print written all over it with some changes that above mentioned, but most importantly, get rid of the fishie! Wonderful idea and negative space interplay.

nice work. although would get rid of the cartoony fish and replace with something to indicate it's the sea but more neutral like the sky's clouds...

Looks good.
My suggestions: Angle the hands more so the knuckles and gaps of the hands look more like waves. I would also reduce the numbe of clouds a little and add a little something else in the sky. Perhaps add a little something in the sea to get across the feeling of both worlds being unison and together. |
