About my design

My proposal is to print a limited edition series of t-shirts, two-thousand-and-ten t-shirts to be precise. They will all be individually numbered, which paradoxally makes every t-shirt print unique.



The actual printing of this is not as hard as one might think. There will need to be individual screens for the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 0, so one can easily progress from number 1 to 2010.

It's a good idea. But I don't think it is visually appealing. It could have some other elements. I don't know what.

(Also, I'd like it better if it was 0001)

The unique shirt idea shows some good thinking. Keep at it!

i like the concept of limited edition. Very nice concept. But yeah maybe add in threadless logo or make it more interesting, so people can tell that it is a limited shirt.

I like the idea but I think that the details could be worked out. I think that there could be more to the tee than there is...like a more appealing font or color.

I really do like where this could go.... Keep working out the design...i think it's a good idea just needs a bit of tweeking

excellent concept!! I agree on the 0001 suggestion by EN AJUSTES, and I also agree it would be great to have some graphic element to hang the eye on, rather than just plain font. But very original thinking!! I hope to see further developments of this idea!

It's a good concept, but there's nothing that really makes it worth buying other than buying for the sake of being unique. As EN AJUSTES said, it's really not that visually appealing. It's just some words and numbers. I'd buy it if it had more to it.

Cool idea, but yea it needs some work. I like feikudisigns's idea for a Threadless logo. It just needs something more.

love the idea, but the design is dull. add color, graphics, etc. to make it more visually appealing and interesting and i would give it a 5! :)

Hello and thanks for all your feedback!



This design is all about the concept so I didn't want to use overpowering and flashy graphics, as this takes the focus away from the idea. Also I think it might cater for people/designers who normally don't buy t-shirts from Threadless if you catch my drift.



That said, I'll take aboard some of the comments and put another submission up!

that's a gorgeous idea!!But I wonder, it is not practical to do so, 'cuz that means they suppose to make 2010 plates to print on each tee. On the other hand, if they really do print this, I'll buy it right away.

MsCrumblebottom: You would actually only need 11 screens, it's like using silkscreen the way you would use a letterpress. So you have ten individual screens for

couldnt you just make one screen with the numbers 0-9 on it, but when printing, just block the numbers you dont need...?



i guess you would have to do a lot of adjusting for each shirt, but you'd have to change the whole screen anyway...

RatSalad: I believe that would be a pretty good idea, I haven't done a lot of screenprinting so I'll leave that to the proffessionals..



As for the adjusting, I like the idea of some of the digits beeing a bit misregisrered? If that should happen, I'd welcome it.
