Something about the placement of the hand on the chest makes me think the kid is doing something other than just collapsing, lost in the woods. Heart-attack? Holding a joint? About to vomit? On the upstroke of masturbating?

i really really like this, but i agree that placeing it furthur to the right and lower would be better, and perhaps a khaki color instead/as well as of white? it would work well with the colors of the print.

Hmm this is pretty dang cool, but uh, WHAT'S HE DOING WITH HIS OTHER HAND? The missing other hand and the way his face is looking looks like he's up to ah, no good in the forest, and he's gonna leave with hairy hands.

I like the illustration but I think it would look better in the bottom riight corner... just my opinion,,,.... otherwise its a rad idea.. unique unlike most of the other entries

I really like the illustration, but since you're working with two dimensions and no shadow you need something to show what's where. What I mean is that I think that the trail should be overlapped by the front stump (the one the child is leaning against) to show that it is, in fact, behind said stump and not above it, as it appears to be now. As it is, the child seems to be looking up at the birds, perched in a limb above his/her head, as opposed to a path through the forest, which is what I assume you were shooting for.
