im not really into it but i think it would look great it the duck was bigger. I'd like to see a green and pink duck on a black shirt... I would soooo buy that!!!

The duck is kinda cute, I don't like the "quack", maybe in a different font, or presented differently, like with a speech bubble or something.

Have you tried the 'quack' in a nice elegant calligraphic-type font...? With good kerning it might give a nice play to the cute duck.... If that doesn't work, ditch the text, centre it.
