I am afraid that it reminds me of that Anti-aids campaign we have in the states. I am not sure if this is good or bad...

Okay, I thought it was about Aids awareness at first too, but now that you say Its based on Day Of Silence.
There are two types of Day of Silence: Is this one inspired by the Christian youth? or The Gay/Lesbian supporters. I like the illustration a lot! |

Well, it was inspired by the Day of Silence, but I think this has different meaning to different people. Basically, it's about stopping the silence and standing up for what you believe. No more silencing of any minority communities.
(The Christian one is called the Day of Truth. It is actually the anti-"Day of Silence".) |

I am not impressed. If you are ending the silence, why do you have an image of someone with tape over their mouths.... Makes no sense.

Exigent > the red tape is referring to the red "silence". and i just conceptualized that silence that bigotry imposed on people to prevent them from speaking up and being themselves.

That is one intense stare he's got goin' on. Gives me the shivers a little bit. It's a very good illustration of a face (and thank God because I am so sick of the faceless forms so many people do today to avoid drawing a face) but man oh man that is one intense stare!

Is there seriously an anti Day of Silence?! Wow... I've never heard of it. How horrible! I'm Christian and I've participated in the Day of Silence. I know that sounds wierd...

It looks great, but somehow looks like a charity collectors t shirt...sort of reminds me of an a domestic abuse campaign that's been out lately...which is a shame, 'cause otherwise its fab,.
